An operational 240-acre horse farm, The Thoroughbred Center is a training facility for racehorses. Visitors can take a guided tour of the grounds, including watching as horses are ridden and trained, and learn about some of the tricks used in keeping these prize animals in top shape. The center is located just northeast of the city, next to the Lexington Country Club.
Tours run Apr - Oct: Mon. - Sat. 9:00 a.m.; Nov - Mar: Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m.
